Voltron LD OC: Bacia

Ok so I'm a HUGE Voltron fan and I absolutely ADORE the new remake Voltron:Legendary Defender, so I decided it was high time I made a V:LD OC of my own!! Feel free to tell me what you think!!

-UPDATE- Look who got a redesign!!! As much as I enjoyed her old appearance, it was time I made her look a bit less generic (and showed off how much my art has improved )

Name: Bacia (Ba-see-ah)

Name Meaning: In Kijan, Bacia means 'Faithful/Loyal One'

Home Planet: Kijan (Kai-jan) in the Sargas System not to far from Arus's solar system

Species: Primarily referred to as Kijani (Kai-jan-ee) or simply Kijans

Age: In human years she'd be about 32 but in Kijan years she's only 16; this is due to the fact that Kijan, while being only the fourth planet from its large sun, has a 730 day year with its longer rotation speed causing days to not only be longer, but years to as well. Their year is divided into 22 months, each one 33 days long.

Gender: Female

Height: 6'5”

Weight: 189 Earth Pounds

Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual

Relationship Status: Single at the moment, but has her eyes on Hunk <3

Occupation: Warrior and Strategist

Birthday: On Earth her birthday would (I'm not sure feel free to correct me on this) fall on January 2. On Kijan it is on the 32nd day of the 22nd month; a.k.a Lapicus 32nd

Astrological/Zodiac Sign: Capricorn

Blood type: Kijan blood is quite different from Human blood, Kijan blood comes in a violet-pink color when it is oxygenated thanks to the respiratory pigment haemoerythin, and is almost colorless when deoxygenated. The different Kijan blood types rely on the shade of pink-violet their blood is when oxygenated.

Bacia has the 1st blood type, meaning her blood is a very bright pink-violet.

Personality: Upon first glance many people see Bacia as nothing but a cold, battle hardened soldier from Kijan. However after she opens up a bit from her tough outer shell, people see a proper, practical, and reliable young woman filled with curiosity. She's extremely loyal and hard working while having very good practical skills when it comes to mundane tasks.

She's very observant and quiet. She has trouble relaxing and a tendency to overwork herself to exhaustion. She was taught that feelings are weak, though after meeting the Voltron Force she's been learning to let loose and open up to people about how she feels, though she still struggles at times.

- Due to her size and strength Bacia is terrified of breaking things that aren't hers, even if it's on accident and is extremely careful with everything she touches, even though she does occasionally like to show off her strength (mostly to Hunk though, just to see what his reaction is going to be).
-She secretly loves small cuddly things and children, and loves to play with them when she can. Because of this she thinks Allura's space mice are adorable, and only Allura knows this.
-All Kijans are omnivorous but they have several sharp fangs in the front of her mouth with her more blunt teeth in back. Bacia enjoys all kinds of meat an seafood because of her slightly more carnivorous nature.

Weaknesses:
-Bacia is incredibly stubborn and that can often get her into trouble
-Bacia hates the cold and refuses to go anywhere beneath 90 degrees (or an alien equivalent)
- She can be a fair diplomat... She's just not so good with social niceties and is extremely blunt

Talents/Skills:
-Bacia is an incredibly skilled fighter and knows hand to hand combat as well as adept at using several different types of weaponry.

Powers:
-Inhuman Strength: While among Kijan warriors she has average strength among humans and many other races she would be considered incredibly strong. At most she can lift up to 3 Tons.

-Predatory Instinct: Kijans are mostly carnivorous and predatory by nature, as such her instincts are naturally inclined towards a more animalistic side. This does show up both on the battlefield and occasional feline mannerisms. (Possesiveness, protectiveness, and kinda Tsundereness)

History/Background: Kijan is a very Weapon and Military based planet; as such it's people live with strict rules and precision each person being chosen for a specific role at birth, and no Kijans are allowed to marry above or below their current station. Kijans live with their parents until the age of six before being taken to learn their trade, whether they like to or not.

This was the case for Bacia, who was given very little time to bond with her parents before being taken and trained in the Kijan military. She spent most of her life working hard until she was finally inducted as a full warrior and sent out into battle to keep the Galra from completely ruling Kijan. When the Voltron Paladins arrived on Kijan to help fight the Galra she was sent as a Military Ambassador to speak with them, after the Galra were driven off Kijan it was decided that she'd leave the planet with the Paladins as a sign of trust and goodwill, as well as extra man power. Seeing as she'd had very little personal ties to her planet she was the ideal choice. However she still wears her Kijan Armor into battle as a sign of her loyalty, though she was given a Voltron Suit of her own.

Weapon(s):
- Double Sided Laser Staff, basically a hard light laser staff, though it can peter out on occasion. She and Pidge are working on update prototypes.

Scar(s): Bacia has quite a few scars from going into battle with the Galra, though they're hidden by her armor; she has one large burn scar from a stray laser blast on her left side, and several smaller burn scars on her legs and torso from being grazed by other laser blasts.

Accesories: She wears two black earrings, one on the top of each ear.

Any Tattoos?: As a Kijan warrior she was tattooed with silver "Warrior Stripes" upon her full initiation into the army and they run down the sides of her cheeks, forhead, and down her arms.

Piercings: She has two piercings, both on the tops of her ears.

In depth relations:

-Hunk: When she first met Hunk she thought he was a bit too much of a coward and was honestly rather unhappy around him, but over time she came to see that he could be just as brave as the others and that he was just concerned for the teams well being. And after she warmed up to him she found herself having a very quiet crush on him that no one knows about.

-Pidge: She's incredibly close with Pidge, originally they bonded over their love of technology but soon they started talking about their homes and their lives and just became confidants to one another.

-Lance: She finds Lance to be a bit immature but he does help her to let loose and have fun every once in a while and he knows better than to try and flirt with her.

-Keith: She and Keith enjoy arguing and sparring with each other and are total bros, so much so that Lance teases them by saying there a couple... Leading them both to give him a smack across the back of the head

-Shiro: She looks up to Shiro as the father she never got to know and holds a deep respect for him.

-Allura: Allura and Bacia get along alright, though their relationship is more like a sibling rivalry, each one trying to be the more accomplished than the other while still having a sisterly bond.

-Coran: She loves to hang around Coran and enjoys his wild antics, though she doesn't really express it much
